About

A short list, kept short on purpose

Daylight Arcade started as a personal bookmarks page: a folder of browser games that were worth a five-minute break and did not try to sell anything. The page grew into a small catalogue, and it is still written by hand.

What belongs here

Three rules decide whether a game makes the list. It has to be playable in a tab without an install; it has to explain itself in under a minute; and it has to be enjoyable without spending money. Anything that starts with a paywall, an energy meter or a countdown to the next free turn stays out.

How the site runs

The catalogue is a static site. There are no real accounts, no comment sections and no advertising. The Profile panel is a front-end demo: it keeps a placeholder session in your browser tab and never creates a user. Pages are written by hand, and the list is reviewed every few weeks: old entries are pruned when a game stops working or turns into something else.

What it is not

This is not a game studio and not a platform. Nothing is hosted for profit, no data is collected about visitors, and there is no team of editors behind a brand. It is a hobby project that happens to have a domain name.
